Giyani Boxing Trainer getting ready for the upcoming match

A well-known Boxing Trainer, Immanuel Muthavhatshindi of Giyani Boxing Club (GBC) has been nominated for South African Boxing Award that will take place on the 17th May 2019 in Sandton Conventional Centre.

Immanuel is nominated in the category of best Managers/Trainers where he will be battling against Collen McAusland and Lanwabo Witbooi.

According to Immanuel, he is very happy about the nominations and he indicated that his victory will be dedicated to people of Giyani and Mopani in particular as they supported him since the day one when he started joining Giyani Boxing Club and the Mayor of Mopani District Municipality Nkakareng Rakgaole.

“I feel special to be nominated it shows that my works are making big noise out there and people appreciates it. This award will be for my fans in Giyani and Mopani because without them I’m nothing and Executive Mayor of Mopani District Municipality who have been helpful to me,” he said.

Another Giyani Boxing Club Boxer, Bukiwe Nonina who was named a best female boxer on 2017 and 2018 is also nominated and she will be competing with Melissa Miller and Thema Zulu.
