Pfuxanani Xitlhelani Disability Center desperately needs financial assistance in order to sustain their organisation
Pfuxanani Xitlhelani Disability Centre is a home for disabled people from Xitlhelani Village, few kilometres away from Malamulele Township in Collins Chabane Municipality established in the year 2015 by Wilfred Abel Mavasa as a Manager and vision bearer.
Mavasa works with Mbhazima Rose Ndlovu whom they worked from her house when they started this organisation in 2015.
The main objective of this organisation is to empower disabled people in terms of unearthing their talents such as sewing, moulding, etc “we aimed on bringing the disabled people together so that they could be able to know their rights as humans. Some of the disabled people are locked indoors by their families and only brought out when they are about to receive their social grants” said Abel Mavasa.
Pfuxanani Xitlhelani Disability Center has 81 disabled people who are depending on left overs/food parcels for food. “We depend on food parcels from public schools since we have not yet received any assistance or funding since our inception in 2015.” Mavasa said.
Wilfred Abel Mavasa is appealing to government departments and private entity to financially assist them in order to sustain the organisation.
